A confidential owner-to-owner conversation

Sell your course to people who understand what it takes to own one.

If you are considering a sale, succession plan or ownership transition, speak directly with a golf course principal who understands the transaction and the responsibility that begins after closing.

Confidential. Principal-led. No broker required.

A buyer with operating context

A course is more than a transaction.

Its people, condition, reputation and place in the community all matter. We evaluate the full asset and the operating plan required to protect it.

A clear path forward

Direct, disciplined and built around your objectives.

Every situation is different. The process begins with what you want to accomplish, then advances only when both sides agree there is a credible fit.

01

Listen first

We begin with your goals, timing, priorities and the outcome you want for the course.

02

Evaluate the asset

We review the business, real estate, infrastructure, capital needs and operating opportunity.

03

Define the path

If there is a fit, we outline structure, terms, diligence and clear decision points.

04

Plan the transition

Before closing, we prepare for employees, members, golfers, vendors and day-one operations.

What we evaluate

A credible offer starts with a credible view of the asset.

We look beyond a single year or an optimistic pro forma. Our review connects historical performance, current operations, real estate, infrastructure and the capital required to move the property forward.

You do not need a perfect package before reaching out. We will explain what is useful at each stage and why it matters.

01
Business performance

Financial history, current-year results, rounds, membership, pricing and revenue mix.

02
Property and infrastructure

Real estate, course condition, irrigation, buildings, equipment and deferred capital needs.

03
People and obligations

Employees, member commitments, vendor agreements, debt and other material relationships.

04
Opportunity and risk

Market position, operating improvements, capital priorities and the practical path to execution.

Frequently asked questions

What owners ask before the first conversation.

Is my inquiry confidential?

Yes. Momentum treats seller inquiries as confidential business conversations. A formal confidentiality agreement can be discussed before sensitive property, financial, employee or member information is shared.

Do I need a broker to speak with Momentum?

No. Owners may contact Momentum directly or through an authorized broker, attorney, lender or other advisor.

What should I share in the first conversation?

Start with the course name, location, ownership objective, preferred timing and a high-level description of the property and business. We will identify the appropriate next information if there is potential fit.

Will Momentum consider a course with deferred maintenance?

Deferred maintenance does not automatically prevent consideration. We evaluate the condition, capital requirement, timing, operating impact and overall economics of the opportunity.

Can I retain an ownership interest?

Potentially. Momentum can evaluate minority investment and other partnership structures when a full sale is not the preferred outcome.

Can Momentum value my course through the website?

No. A credible valuation requires property-specific financial, operating, market, real estate and capital information. Website content is not an appraisal or an offer.

Confidential. Direct. Owner-led.

Start with a private conversation, not a sales process.

Share only what you are comfortable sharing initially. You will speak directly with Momentum’s ownership and leadership team about your goals, timing and whether there may be a fit.
